Frequently Asked Questions

While most events are all ages, some events may have specific age restrictions. Information will be made available on the event page of the venue website. Unless otherwise stated on the specific event page, all patrons 2 years of age and older require a ticket to enter the Arena. Children under the age of 2 are admitted free but must be seated on the knee of their parent/guardian. We recommend children under the age of 16 years old be accompanied by an adult for our GA standing section.
We have ATMs located in the Grand Foyer and the Northern Foyer of our venue.
For most events backpacks larger than 30cm x 30cm x 30cm are not permitted into the Venue and must be cloaked.  All bags being cloaked will be searched. 
The Ticket Box Office usually opens 30 minutes before external doors to the venue open.

Small personal cameras (cameras with a lens that extends less than 5cm from the body of the camera) and mobile phones with cameras may be permitted for some events. We ask that you turn off your flash so as not to distract the performers or other patrons. For SLR or larger cameras please see ‘Professional photography and video cameras’. 

Cloakrooms are available at each event located in the Grand Foyer and the Northern Foyer of the venue.

For patrons with sensitive hearing, earplugs are available at all events at the Information Desk located in the Grand Foyer for $2 a pair. 

The start time of your event will be displayed on your ticket and on the Arena’s event page. Please keep in mind, all running times are approximate only and are subject to change.

The First Aid room is on the Main Concourse (Ground level) next to door 4. St John's Ambulance is available for all public events.

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, or printed materials is not permitted without written permission from Qudos Bank Arena and/or its Hirers. The sampling and distribution of products is strictly prohibited.

For the comfort of patrons and performers, the use of iPads/Tablets (over 7.9"/20cm when measured diagonally) are not permitted at Qudos Bank Arena. For some events, the use of iPads/tablets is prohibited although the Arena will notify patrons prior to the show.
All lost property that is found during an event is returned to the Information Desk located in the Grand Foyer. After an event, all lost property will be located in our security office. Please contact 8765 4321 for any enquiries.

If you have a medical condition that requires you to carry medication (eg. EpiPens or insulin pens) please let security know upon arrival that you have these items with you.
Merchandise is available for most events. Credit card and EFTPOS facilities are available including Paywave (up to the value of $100) and Apple Pay technologies in each Merchandise outlet. Please keep in mind, the merchandise range is organised and supplied by the artist’s management. If you require an exchange or refund after the event, please contact the Arena on our Contact Us page.

A Parents Room is located on the Main Concourse (Ground Level) opposite Door 14. You must have a ticket to access this area.

Cash, EFTPOS and credit card payment methods are accepted including Paywave (up to the value of $100) and Apple Pay technologies at all merchandise and concession stands. American Express is the preferred card of the venue.


Unfortunately we do not have any payphones within the venue. They can be located throughout the Sydney Olympic Park precinct.

Prams are not permitted in the seating area and must be cloaked at the Information Desk located in the Grand Foyer. Please check with our ushers upon arrival as this location may change depending on the event requirements.

Professional & SLR cameras (cameras with detachable lenses or a lens that extends more than 5cm from the body of the camera), video cameras and audio recording devices are not permitted at any event and not permitted in the venue.

For most events purses and handbags smaller than 30cm x 30cm x 30cm are permitted into the Venue.  All bags will be searched upon entry.

Qudos Bank Arena is a licensed venue and practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Free drinking water is available at every bar. Patrons who appear under 25 must present a current drivers licence, NSW Photo Card or Passport prior to being served. Penalties apply for patrons who fail to comply with conditions set out in the Liquor Act 2007.

Qudos Bank Arena’s signature restaurant, Grainge Black Angus Steakhouse, is open for most events. Click here to book a reservation at the Grainge Black Angus Steakhouse.

The Qudos Bank Member Lounge is available for Qudos Bank members, offering complimentary pre-show nibbles, entertainment and access to premium beverages at the cash bar in their exclusive member lounge. Located on Club level (Level 1) opposite Door 29, simply show your Qudos Bank card to gain access and enjoy one of the many benefits of your membership!

The American Express Invites Lounge is also available exclusively for American Express Card members. Whether you need a quick bite to eat or a relaxing beverage, the Invites Lounge will be just the right thing. The Invites Lounge is located opposite Door 39 on Club Level (Level 1), to gain entry, simply show your American Express Card.

All Restaurants and Lounges close when the main act commences.

All AEG Ogden managed venues constantly review security measures and remain extremely vigilant about security of our patrons and staff. Management at each venue undertake a risk assessment for every event and work closely with the State’s Police Command, including any recommendations they make regarding security for a particular event. That includes the precinct and the venue itself.

The use of Selfie Sticks are not permitted at Qudos Bank Arena due to safety considerations and patron enjoyment. We do encourage you to take selfies (for events allowing cameras) although without the use of selfies sticks.

No signs/posters are permitted on the arena floor. Any seated patrons wishing to bring signs must ensure they are smaller than A3 in size. For some events, signs are completely prohibited.

Qudos Bank Arena is a non-smoking venue and smoking within the venue is prohibited. This includes E-cigarettes and other electronic imitations or simulation devices. A designated smoking area is available for all events. Cigarettes, matches and lighters are not available for sale.

Patrons are welcome to stand/dance in front of their ticketed seat only. They must act respectful to the patrons around them and not excessively block those behind them with arms or signs in the air for extended periods of time. Aisles are to remain clear at all times. For safety reasons, standing or dancing on seats, climbing and crowd surfing are never permitted.

Tickets can only be collected at the Ticket Box Office the day of the event. The Ticket Box Office usually opens 30 minutes before external doors open. As a part of the terms of sale, the only person authorised to collect pre-paid tickets is the credit/debit card holder. The credit/debit card holder must also present the following ID to collect tickets in person:
  • Credit/debit card that was used to purchase the tickets 
  • Valid Photo ID
  • Valid concession card or proof of entitlement (for concession tickets only)

If tickets are still available, last minute tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Box Office located on the left hand side of the Grand Foyer. 

Male and female toilets are located throughout the venue, including disabled toilets.

We do not currently host tours of the Arena.

Umbrellas longer than 300mm (when in the closed position) must be cloaked or left in the umbrella bins provided.

If an act is not on our website, it means the performance has not been confirmed or is being held at another venue.

For certain events, one sealed 600ml PET bottle of water per patron may be permitted entry – under no circumstances will an unsealed PET bottle be permitted entry.
Complimentary WIFI is available in the Qudos Bank Member Lounge (Level 1, opposite door 29) and American Express Invites Lounge (Level 1, opposite door 39).
