Afterpay has been announced as the Arena’s new naming rights partner, marking the beginning of a new chapter for one of Australia’s leading live entertainment, sporting and cultural venues.

The Arena will transition to its new name in partnership with Afterpay. During this transition period, venue, event and ticketing information continue to refer to Qudos Bank Arena while branding updates are completed.

Yes. All valid tickets remain valid. Ticket holders do not need to take any action as a result of the naming rights transition.

Not yet. This announcement marks the start of a carefully managed transition and communication process. The venue will continue to operate as Qudos Bank Arena until the official name change takes effect in later in the year.

The official changeover takes place later in the year, when the venue will become “Afterpay Arena, formerly Qudos Bank Arena”. All updates to signage, branding, ticketing, and communications will be made at that time.

From late in the year, the venue name and branding will transition to Afterpay Arena. The broader guest experience will also evolve, including exciting new spaces and enhanced payment options across the entire visit. Updates will be shared throughout the transition.

Everything continues as normal. All upcoming events, bookings, ticketing, and day-to-day operations remain unaffected. All tickets are fully valid.

No. During the transition period, your destination remains Sydney Olympic Park, Qudos Bank Arena. Once the name change takes effect, the venue will be known as Afterpay Arena, formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena, so either name will get you there.

No immediate changes are expected for visitors. The venue will continue to use the Qudos Bank Arena name during the transition period, and any future branding changes will be managed over time.

No. The Qudos Bank Members Lounge has now closed. The space will undergo renovations and is expected to reopen later this year in partnership with our new naming rights partner. The lounge will now be available to all patrons.

A structured communication and education strategy will roll out throughout this period. Customers, key stakeholders, and transport partners will all be kept fully informed. The process is designed to be clear, easy to understand, and consistent across every touchpoint.

Yes. The venue continues to operate as normal, with no impact on events, ticket holders, staff, suppliers, hirers or day-to-day operations.

The official unveiling of the Arena’s new look will take place in late in the year. This will include updates to venue branding, signage, ticketing and other public-facing assets as part of a managed transition.
